I am Paul Cozzens, candidate for Iron County Commission seat B. Iron County is where I met my beautiful wife, perfected a trade, grew our cabinet manufacturing business, and raised our family. Since 2011, I have been able to give back through public service on the Cedar City Council and as an Iron County Commissioner, while the next generation has taken over the family business.
I want to ensure future generations have a bright future in Iron County. The Utah Republican Party Platform states: “We believe that citizens' needs are best met through free enterprise, private initiative, and volunteerism.” In public service, I have always tried to improve local lives through keeping government focused on needed infrastructure and conservative spending while facilitating and encouraging more freedom for private individuals and organizations to make a living and improve our quality of life.
I’m passionate about the issues and I do what it takes to secure a bright future for our community. Usually, that means problem solving and collaborating with very different kinds of people to make things happen. Sometimes, that means taking a less-diplomatic approach and making enemies when tough decisions need to be made. In any case, Iron County can count on me to get things done, especially when times are hard. I look forward to serving the citizens of Iron County for another term as your county commissioner and I ask for your support and your vote.
